Questions and Answers

Are there there rules against dropping off a 13 year old to play and see the place again
Im not sure about that but I dont know how much fun a 13 yr old would have at this location. It seems to be aimed more towards a younger crowd. Im guessing they want all children to be supervised but you can give them a quick call to find out. I didnt see any other 13yr olds while I was there.
What is the entery fee?
Its $8 for ages 2 and up. If you have the city saver there is usually a BOGO Deal or you can get the membership if you plan to go regularly
Im looking for a place to have my daughters first birthday party does this place do those and what are the price ranges if they do?
$175 to $230 for regular and $400 for an after hours party unless youre a member then its $25 off. This info is on the website under things to do.
How much is a membership for a child
There are parent plus child family and etc. type memberships. There is not solely a child membership option.

Worth the membership. We go a few times a month. Something to break up the week for my toddler and infant. Lots of activities geared toward school ages but still entertaining for a 2 year old.

Loved it here. My 8and 6 year olds had so much fun! We used our reciprocity through ASTC Passport Program to gain admission. We played in water and sand, tried our hands at being firefighters and Junior Rangers, multiple trips down the SuperSlide (which meant multiple trips climbing 2 flights of stairs for them ). We participated in a repeatable science experiment, and learned about turtles! Resident snapping turtle named Fluffy is HUGE! Definitely recommend if you live near here, or are just passing through.... babies, toddlers, school age and up were seen to be enjoying themselves!

My 4 year old daughter absolutely LOVES this place! We spend hours here playing around. There s SO many little things to do, from the art center, to the farmers market. The kitchen is so realistic and teaches children the art of multitasking with cooking, laundry, and taking care of the babies all at the same time. The water table, grocery store and doctors play station always grab her attention. It s very well managed with helpful staff and is always clean regularly. Thank you for providing such a fun place for the kids!

We were looking for something to do out of town for the kids on a Sunday that wasnt too expensive or crowded. Upon arrival the girl at the front was very nice. There were tons of things for our 3 year old and 14 year old and maybe even a 34 and 39 years old to do lol. The outdoor area where some of the wildlife are was interesting too. Id highly recommend.

This place is so great for my toddler! Tons of hands on activities and learning to play with others. So many different options and levels of play. There s even outdoor activities that we did not experience. I felt like $12 per person is very reasonable for all day or even a couple hours of play. My daughter slept like a rock on the way home.

I have booked two parties here for my children. Both were great experiences and I plan to book a private party this year. We have also attended multiple parties for other children. The kids always have a wonderful time!

We recently visited from out of town, and I wish we could have brought the Discovery Center back to Florida with us. My kids (2, 4, and 6) had a blast experimenting with the water table (and I was glad to see that they had multiple sizes of waterproof smocks to keep the kids dry) and playing in the little playhouse, digging for dinosaur bones, dressing up and riding on a firetruck, and playing grocery store. The clean, bright, and open space is well set up for lots of learning that just feels like play! Well worth the reasonable price.

Went with the girlfriend and her kiddos, they all had a great time just running around and playing with the interactive displays. Its a fun family day for kids ages 5-10, but the outdoor nature area could use a little TLC. Also not much in the way of parking, so go early if youre going

This place will provide many hours of fun! It s low cost and there are SO. MANY. ACTIVITIES. your kiddo can do. We are annual pass holders. It is great for many ages - I would say toddlers (I d say one year old / walking) to 9-10 years old. You could easily let your kids play here for 4 or 5 hours. *Bring a change of clothes, there s a big water activity area and they may get pretty wet playing there. *Snacks like juice, water and chips can be purchased here as well as little toys and stuffed animals. *One downside is that they have school field trips here and there s WAY to many kids and it gets WAY to loud.

This is an amazing resource for STEM experiences for you and your kids. So much to do, see, touch, hear and learn from in each focus area. Wherever your interests in the sciences lie, you can find something that appeals to you. If youre planning a group event, there are rooms available to accommodate your needs. The center will even host live science experiments that are age appropriate. How cool is that? Dont miss the opportunity to have fun while maybe learning something new... its just around the corner!
